The Advance Gamerz

Story Frozen Throne

Many months have passed since Archimonde and the Burning Legion were defeated at the Battle of Mount Hyjal...

The stalwart night elves, led by the Arch Druid, Furion Stormrage and the Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind, have vanished back into the shadows of Ashenvale Forest - intent to heal the ancient lands that were scarred by the Legion's vile corruption.

The battle-weary orcish Horde, led by the idealistic Warchief, Thrall, has settled in the harsh, eastern hills of the Kalimdor Barrens. Finally able to claim a homeland of their own, the orcs work tirelessly to found and protect their new nation of Durotar.

The human survivors of Lordaeron, under the command of the Sorceress, Jaina Proudmoore, have also settled along the eastern coast of the Barrens. The island citadel of Theramore was erected to safeguard the last, rag-tag remnants of the failing human Alliance.

...And Arthas, the newly crowned King of Lordaeron, has driven the undead Scourge to eradicate the last vestiges of resistance to his iron rule. His kingdom - the once proud bastion of human might and nobility - has become a plagued realm of death and sorrow. Now, driven by haunting visions of the Frozen Throne of Icecrown, Arthas plans to tighten his grip over the rest of the world.

The Age Of Empire III Game Guide

Microsoft and Ensemble's Age of Empires series of real-time strategy games have been around for quite a while now; the first game in the series first appeared all the way back in 1997. The first game, Age of Empires, modelled the Roman Empire; the second, Age of Kings, recreated the Middle Ages; and now, with Age of Empires III, we finally get to explore the New World, as the game picks up where the last left off, with Columbus' discovery of the Americas and the subsequent rush to colonize the new continents and plunder their resources.

Age of Empires III takes place across five generations, following the adventures of the Black family as their progenitor travels from Europe to the New World to frustrate the efforts of a shadowy secret society, the Circle of Ossus, who are intent on finding the mythical Fountain of Youth. Although Morgan Black is successful in defeating the Circle, they return again to meddle in the affairs of his grandson, John Black, and his great-great-granddaughter, Amelia Black, as they try to carve out their own place in America.

GameSpot's Game Guide to Age of Empires III is intended to give you an introduction to the game; included are tips on dealing with the major changes to the game, pointers on how to use the new HomeCity mechanic to your advantage

The God of War Hint For PS2
  • During the Challenge of Atlas after you cross the bridge and pass the saw room, there will be an enemy at the bottom of the tower. Don't kill him, just go to the ladder near the wall. Position yourself so that you are between the enemy and the ladder. Use the square, square, triangle combo to take him out. Make sure you kill the enemy above the ladder. Once you kill it, it should hit the ground, then bounce back up getting caught in this bounce. If done correctly, it will continually release red orbs. Once you get the glitch going, just stand there for about 10 minutes. You will get the max amount of orbs, 199 full red bars which is 59,700 orbs.
  • When you first walk in to the conveyer belt area right before pandoras box you barely go past the entrance as to not activate the battle with harpies and arrowers. Immediately walk as far as your can to the left or right with running into a conveyer belt. Then walk forward next to the conveyer belt until you reach the first pedestal. Jump on it and you should be home free. Now you can liesurely walk to pandoras box without a battle.

The whole idea is that there is an area near the entrance that if you walk in it you will initiate the battle. By walking as close as you can to the edge you are not "tripping the trigger" per say.
  • To move stuff faster press R2 on a moveable object and then press X while also holding R2, As soon as you hear him stop making a sound release the buttons and he will kick the object really far.
